Top: Pink Blush / Cardigan: Target / Faux Leather Leggings: Forever 21 / Booties: Target (similar) / Watch: Arvo
If you haven't noticed already, I'm pretty set in my ways. I like dark colors and cardigans. Sometimes (all the time) it's really hard for me to step outside of the box and switch the colors and styles of my outfits up. Its especially hard for me to brighten them up. Like Chelsea, I'm drawn to these darker items in stores and I honestly just feel more comfortable with myself in them. I think that's okay though, if you feel good in your clothes and confident then that's all that should matter right?
Sometimes I try to brighten up my outfits a little by adding a white shirt in the mix. It brightens it up enough and I still feel like I'm being true to my personal style. I love this top from Pink Blush because it is flowy and has pretty detail that adds texture and ties it back in with my cardigan and faux leather leggings. Its such a comfortable outfit and it looks great for work or for a date night.
Do you have a certain color or style that you tend to stick to? How do you switch it up while still staying true to your style?
