Superbowl Outfit for the Neutral Fan

Neutral Superbowl Outfit

Superbowl Weekend is just about here! I love the Superbowl even though I will admit I definitely don't follow any teams during the season or have any team preferences really at all since here in Utah we don't actually have an NFL team, but I love the Superbowl parties and fun get togethers with friends and family. Not to mention the food and the commercials/halftime show are always a good time! If you're like me and you are more of a neutral fan, here is a great outfit idea for you. It's sporty and comfy and perfect for just hanging around and eating treats. Plus you can decide half way through who you want to root for depending on who is winning and no one can say anything! Just kidding, I would never do that... But if you are a fan of a certain team, Alex and Ani has these super cute bracelets available (pictured above) so you can show your support! I hope you all have a safe, fun weekend!

Happy Thursday everybody! We are so close to the weekend, and I'm getting super excited. My husband and I are headed up to Park City for a nice relaxing little get away since I feel like we haven't slowed down since November. There is always something going on, and unfortunately we've had a few deaths amongst family and friends.

Have any of you been watching the bachelor this season!?!?! I watched it on Monday night with my friend Lindsay while she did my nails. Oh.My.Gosh. These girls are crazy! I'm glad crazy onion Ashley is out, but I will miss her weird shenanigans. My favorite recaps were from Michelle Money and All Time Ever. Maybe next week I'll do a recap, just because there are SO many things that I have to say about that show-and my husband is a trooper and watches it with me so there is always his commentary that I'm dying to share with the world.

Have a great rest of your week, and thank you so much for stopping by and supporting this little blog of ours.

Casual Valentines Day Inspiration

Heels: Forever 21 (old) // Similar

If you haven't seen this coat yet, you need to get over to Mindy Mae's Market quick! They are available in red and pink and just a little FYI, the red is currently on sale! It's the perfect piece to complete your casual Valentines day outfit. I love pairing it with my favorite striped tee, cuffed jeans and heels for a classy, yet casual look.
This is one of those items that is so easy to either dress up or down so you have a lot of options.

Tights: c/o Kushy Foot
Booties: Target (old) similar // similar // similar
Clutch: c/o Lucy and Lyla
Watch: Fossil

As you all know, Utah is pretty cold in the winter. I feel like every Sunday I'm pairing my outfits with a set of tights. The tights that I'm wearing are from Kushy Foot, and oh my goodness they're heavenly. They have a padding on the foot part of the tights that is...well....kushy :) It's so nice because I feel like by the end of church my feet are starting to hate being trapped in high heels/booties, but not when I'm wearing these tights. I also like the pattern to the tights because it gives my outfit a little something extra.

A Pop of Color and a HUGE Announcement!

Sweater: Target (old)
Skirt: Mindy Mae's Market
Clutch: c/o Handbag Heaven
Heels: Forever 21// Similar

I recently received this clutch from Handbag Heaven and I am in LOVE with it! It is the perfect amount of color for me as I'm in this journey of slowly adding color into my wardrobe. If you don't know about Handbag Heaven, head over to their online shop now and see what all the fuss is about! I also want to point out this amazing tulle skirt from Mindy Mae's Market! I have been wanting one for so so long but we all know that I'm a bargain shopper so I just couldn't get myself to spend a fortune on one so when I saw this one I had to jump on it! And by the looks of it, I'm not the only one! The unfortunate part of this story is that it looks like they were only available for a short time but if I were you I would keep your eyes on MMM's instagram and online shop because they have been releasing some aaa-mazing new items lately and every now and then they come across some extras of their sold out items that they didn't realize they had and they'll post them! And not to mention the amazing sales they are constantly having!

Okay and now for the HUGE announcement!

My husband and I have been keeping a big secret lately and we are so excited to FINALLY be able to share this with you!

I'd love to hear your favorite baby stores and boutiques!

Coral Loafers

Jacket: Mindy Mae's Market (size up if you wear bulkier pieces underneath)
Loafers: J.Crew

Happy Friday!!! I know we typically do a Friday Favorites post today, but this outfit really is one of my favorites right now. It is so darn comfortable! And it's still put together enough that I can wear it to work :) I love mixing stripes with other patterns, so my camo jacket was a must for layering and the added pop of color with my loafers was just trying not to wear all dark colors again.

Riley and I don't have any set plans this weekend, but I think some of my plans are going to be grocery shopping and cleaning my home. And sleeping in because I have not been able to sleep all week! It's kind of weird because I use to be able to sleep anywhere and everywhere, but I guess my body just wants me to stay awake now. Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend?

Lucy and Lyla

Tee: Old Navy // Similar
Cardigan: Lucy and Lyla // Similar in a blue style
Jeans: American Eagle // Similar
Booties: Target // Similar

This weekend we got the pleasure to meet the cute girls over at Lucy and Lyla, They were so fun to get to know and they had the cutest clothes for sale that I just kept going back! This cardigan was one of my scores from them and as we all know, I love a good Aztec print but I typically stay closer to the black and white styles. However, I love this one and I am so glad I found it because it does have a little color in it and it goes perfectly with my favorite burgundy tee. One of my goals this year was to broaden the colors of my wardrobe so I am slowly getting a little more out there. Baby steps.

Make sure you check out all of the cute clothes Lucy and Lyla has to offer! This cardigan might not be available anymore but they have so many other cute items that really I promise you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Outfit Inspiration

Top: Kohls (old) similar
Skirt: c/o Mindy Mae's Market
Shoes: Dillards (old) similar
Purse: c/o Handbag Heaven
Watch: Fossil
Bracelet: Alex and Ani

When Mindy Mae's Market sent me this skirt I freaked out 1. Because I LOVE lace skirts 2. Because it's perfect for Valentine's Day! I've been looking for a lace skirt for a super long time, and this skirt is going to hard to beat. It's pretty stretchy so it's easy to move around (a definite plus since I teach the 3 year olds at church) and it's such a pretty color. Since it's a great pop of color, I decided to pair it with a light colored blouse and nude accessories. I love this purse from Handbag Heaven because of the feminine detail. Plus you can never go wrong with a good cross body. The nude color is out of stock, but they have a great selection of purses. I love this nude one HERE.

I hope you found some inspiration for your Valentine's Outfit! xox

My Favorite Striped Tee

Cardigan: Target (old) // similar
Stiped Pocket Tee: Clad & Cloth
Jeans: American Eagle (old) // similar
Booties: Target (old) // similar

Well, this last weekend was great, we had so much fun at the blogger market! It was so fun to meet other bloggers and shop owners and especially all of you readers who came! We had a great turn out and we can't thank all of you enough!
My original goal was to stay focused and sell my clothes and not buy more but there were so many great things there I couldn't help myself. I just had to pick up a few things that were such a great deal I just couldn't turn them down! This striped shirt is a prime example. I love stripes, a lot. Like, borderline obsessed. I snatched this top up from the cute girls over at Clad & Cloth! It's definitely my new favorite striped shirt. I love how soft and flowy it is. Don't be surprised if you see it make a few appearances over the next little while, it goes great with so many things I want to wear it every day! Make sure you head over to Clad & Cloth and check out their blog and shop!

Have a great day!

The day that we took these pictures it was raining, and now as I look back my hair is doing all sorts of crazy things! This is my last blog post with an ombre in my hair-and it kind of makes me sad because I loved the ombre, but I absolutely LOVE my new hair and I can't wait to show you guys! Thank you to everyone who came to the blogger market on Saturday! We had such a great turn out, and it was fun to meet some of our followers :)

Shawna posted about this jacket HERE, and I had to get it too because it is seriously SO cute and it's only $27!!! What?!?! It's a steal. I absolutely love the color and the shape of the jacket too. I always get compliments on it, and I have to say Pink Blush just constantly out does themselves. AND right now they are having a big flash sale and today is the last day to get discounted items! Head over to their site and get yourself some new clothes :)
