I love oversized sweaters, so when I saw this sweater at Target I made sure to buy an XL. I roll the sleeves up a bit so that it doesn't look sloppy. I love pairing this sweater with my leggings and booties. When it's colder, it goes perfect with my riding boots and snow boots! I love the cream color because it's the perfect neutral. I can put a vest on over it, or even my winter coat for cold nights out. Can you tell I'm loving the fall weather!? What's your favorite thing to wear in the fall?

Friday Favorites: Casual Friday

Hey everyone! Casual Friday is finally here! What better way to transition into the weekend than with this casual fall outfit. I always love a good cardigan but as of late I am loving the black and gray freckled (pretty much anything) chunky-knit cardigans. It looks so comfy, I feel like I could live in that thing everyday and be completely okay with it. Perfect for a crisp, fall Friday. Also, I have been eying these ankle boots for a couple months now. They have become a more of a need and less of a want. What do you think? What is your favorite casual Friday outfit?

I was on the look out for an aztec sweater for probably 2 years. When I did find one that I liked, the store was out of my size. This year at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I found this Aztec sweater and I fell in love. I love that it's not just black and white, but has the pop of red in it. I love that you can pair it with leggings because it covers the bum ;) OR you can pair it with skinny jeans. 

Now, you guys know I love leggings. I wear them a lot. The problem is, I need thicker leggings because I live in Utah where they claim to have the greatest snow on earth (it's on the license plates), so it's going to be very cold in the winter. Agnes and Dora is definitely my go to when it comes to leggings. I have about 6 pair in my drawer right now. Their leggings are so soft and thick enough that they keep you warm, but thin enough that you aren't dying of heat when you're inside. They have solid color leggings as well as printed leggings (I love my camo and leopard print ones). Agnes and Dora even has home parties. My friend Kelsee hosted one earlier this summer, and it was really fun. We were able to see more prints and patterns at the home party, so they are a must!

We love this Dreamcatcher Tee so much we just had to feature it twice. I decided to go for an edgier look with mine. Is boho-edgy a thing? It should be. I paired it with some leather leggings, booties and tied it all together with a chambray button up around my waist. A year ago I never thought I would say it but I am loving flannels and chambrays tied around the waist. I don't know why it took me so long to come around to that one but now I'm a little obsessed.

I love fur vests. Every time I see one I think that I HAVE to have it. I had been wanting the fur vest from Brickyard Buffalo, but they were always sold out when I went to purchase it. After 5 attempts, I FINALLY got it! I like it because it doesn't swamp me like my other fur vest does (it's pretty big). I also like the texture that it adds to my outfit.

So random side note: my mom comes this week! I am so excited for her to get here. My parents live in Oklahoma so I don't get to see them very often. When we are together though, we are always on the go. I can't wait to take her up to Tibble Fork to show her how beautiful it is right now! My aunts are coming for a few days as well, and I can't wait to take them to my favorite restaurants and go shopping!

Fall Basics

The temperature has been dropping here in Northern Utah and it seems like fall has officially arrived, even though it literally did a few weeks ago and I've been pretending its been here for about two months now, the air is finally getting crisp. 

This time of year is the best time to take a drive up to the mountains to see all of the changing leaves and the beautiful colors. If you are local and you haven't made it up there yet you better get on that immediately before they're all gone. Just make sure you dress warm because its pretty chilly up there, there's snow up on the caps of the mountains now! I kept warm by wearing some comfy leggings and an over-sized cardigan when we made this trip up to Tibble Fork Reservoir. This is easily one of my favorite fall outfits because not only is it super comfy, its so easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. You can change the entire feel of your outfit by changing your basic black leggings to some leather leggings and adding a pair of booties like I did. You're still just as comfy but now you're ready for a nice date night out.
