Etc. Etc. Etc. Part 1

T-shirt: c/o & Apparel
Shoes: Forever 21 (similar)
Watch: Arvo
Bracelet: Alex and Ani

Chelsea and I received these amazing Etc. tee's from & Apparel and we decided to create a two-part post on how versatile it really is and how much you can change the look and feel of your outfit with the items you build it with.

I saw this shirt and instantly knew what I would pair it with. I recently purchased this gorgeous forest green skirt with the holidays in mind, and just when I was wondering what in the world I would wear with it, this t-shirt came into my life. Its almost like a match made in heaven. This is one of those dream tee's because it is so easy to pair with just about anything. I love how it completes this outfit and looks so effortlessly classy.

Make sure to head to our Instagram account to see how you could win an & Apparel tee! You can also use the code "arrow20" for 20% off your entire purchase!

Friday Favorites: Chelsea

Lipstick: Mac Rebel
Boyfriend Flannel: Old Navy
Riding Boots: Nordstrom

I got a taste of fall last weekend, and it was heavenly. The cool weather, the crisp fall air, and the leaves changing just made me excited for fall to officially begin. For fall, I love darker lip colors, boyfriend flannel, and riding boots. It's the perfect combo for going up in the mountains, date night, and running errands. I love that you can pair the flannel with leggings, skinny jeans, or a skirt. And riding boots go with all three options too! Plus it's super comfortable! It's a win win :)

Last Saturday was my 1 one year anniversary, so Riley surprised me with a trip up to Park City! It was a little bit colder since we were up in the mountains, and the leaves were starting to change. I was so excited to wear my new hat and bust out the booties. My favorite fall accessories this year are wool hats, plaid scarfs, and booties. I want to wear them all the time, but sadly this weekend was the only time I could. It started to get warm again this week and I'm back to wearing more summery type clothing. This scarf is from Target, but it looks EXACTLY like the Zara blanket scarf. I couldn't find it online, but I know they sell them in the stores. I've been wanting the Zara scarf, but every time I go to buy it it's sold out! Such a bummer. I'm so glad Target had one similar (and it was on sale at the time).  What are your favorite fall accessories?

Anniversary Week #2 : Amanda Hendrickson Photography

Today just so happens to be my 3rd anniversary, so I thought I would share some of my wedding/bridal pictures with you guys. Mainly because I love them and I like to show them off at any chance I get. And yes that is me, for a short period of time I had very blonde hair. My photographer was Amanda Hendrickson and she is the cutest and she fit with what I had envisioned so well. I had never done pictures like this before so I went in to it really nervous but she was so great and made the whole experience so fun and comfortable. That is such a great and important quality for a photographer to have.

I also wanted to take a second to be a little mushy. As most people who know me know, I'm not one who shares my emotions freely. I'm sure my husband of all people would agree with that, but for just a second I want to express how lucky I am to be married to this guy. He takes such good care of me and is so patient. Even though I am constantly running at a million miles an hour between work and school and the blog, he is right there to support me and reassure me that I am doing what is right when I start doubting myself.
I know I don't express it as much as I should but I am so grateful that am the one who got to marry you and I appreciate everything you do for me more than you know.
I love you Trav!

Nothing screams fall quite like a cute cardigan and wool hat. When I got this cardigan from Pink Blush I couldn't be happier. It is the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe! Exciting news everyone! Fall is finally officially here! Well, if you want to be technical, the autumnal equinox begins tonight at 9:29 PM but I’m beginning my celebration early! Okay let’s be honest, I started celebrating fall a looong time ago, but now it’s socially acceptable. There’s just so much to love about it all, the cool days, beautiful colors changing on the mountains, pumpkin spice everywhere and most importantly, the perfect fall outfit.  What makes your perfect fall outfit? Mine definitely includes a great jacket. I’m so excited to finally be able to wear my new army green cargo jacket from PinkBlush! I’ve been eying cargo jackets for a while now and I am so glad I came across this one. It is amazing quality and perfect for those cool days and nights of fall. I love layering this over a cute flannel and my leather leggings for an edgy fall look. Check out Pink Blush and see all of their new fall arrivals! (They also have a maternity section that has thee cutest items! I’ve never been pregnant but I’ve heard the struggle to find cute maternity clothes is real.)

How do you wear your favorite fall jackets?

Friday Favorites

Friday Fall Favorites

This edition of our Friday Fall Favorites is dedicated to accessories. Mainly the two I am obsessed with right now, wool hats and sunglasses.

I wear my wool hats anytime I get the chance. You might notice they show up in most of my pictures. They go with so much, I love mixing and matching them around with different styles. I'm still trying to get up enough guts to attempt wearing one to work, my office has a super lax dress code but I don't know how it would go over.... I'll keep you posted.

My obsession with sunglasses is strange. I love them so much but I can't actually wear them. Which is probably why I am so obsessed with them. You see, I wear glasses and am unable to wear contacts so therefore I can't wear any of the cute sunglasses I always seem to come across because I can't actually see with them, but of course I still buy them. It's a problem. One day I'll break down and get prescription sunglasses (even though the commitment to one style scares me) but until then I'll just keep sacrificing actually being able to see clearly so I can wear sunglasses. (Don't worry, I make my husband drive when I want to wear them.)

What are your favorite fall accessories??

Anniversary Week: Bridals by J.Taylor Photography

Saturday is my one year anniversary, so I thought I would share some of my bridal pictures today! Jalene Taylor was my photographer, and I could not be more happy with my choice. I had followed her on social media after she was the photographer for my friend Alexa's wedding. I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer, and I was crossing my fingers that she would be available for my wedding day. I was definitely stressing because I only had 3 months to plan my wedding, and finding a venue for our reception was tough. Everything was booked! I was nervous that Jalene would be booked too.

My greatest piece of advice for people picking out a photographer is do your research. Make sure you absolutely love your photographer, and check their portfolio in and out. Nothing would be more devastating to me than to not have pictures that I'm in love with of my engagements/bridals/wedding day. A photographer is an investment too. Don't just hire someone with a nice camera. I know we all have budgets, and there are great photographers out there who can meet your requirements. Ask around, and utilize the power of social media.

I can't wait to share my wedding day pictures and video with you! It truly was the best day of my life.
