Park City Getaway

So lately, the husband and I don't get a lot of time together. We might work in the same office but we do our own thing, and with me at school all night it makes it hard to get much quality time in. That is why I was thrilled when Trav decided that instead of just talking about taking a weekend getaway to Park City for our anniversary, we were actually going to do it. We both needed some time away. Trav found some amazing deals online so we were able to have a great time but still keep it affordable. We stayed at the Hyatt Escala Lodge and it was beautiful! We found a great deal on our local Ksl.com in the "Last Minute Travel" section so we decided to go for it. He also found an awesome deal from groupon that was for 2 for 1 day passes to the Utah Olympic Park where we were able to ride the alpine slide, ziplines and attempt the adventure courses as many times as we wanted. It was well worth the price. Jump on that deal when it comes around again. So fun.

We had some delicious dinners on Main Street in Park City as well and one night before we went to dinner we decided that since we were dressed up we might as well stop at my favorite place, The McPolin Farm, an old giant white barn off the highway, and take some family pictures. For just setting up my tripod, they turned out pretty well.

Leaving was hard but we fit in a beautiful drive up and over Guardsmens Pass on the way home. Seriously, Utah is such a beautiful place, everyday I am so glad I ended up here.

It's always good to do your research when planning getaways, but sometimes the last minuted getaway deals are too good to pass up don't forget to check out the deal websites when you're in need of a weekend away!

  2. I love the hat. Maroon looks so good on you. Ever since I've been little people have always told me that red/maroon anything looks good with dark hair. So since I've been on the look out for anything red/maroon.
