So, my birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that this year my husband legitimately surprised me with my gift. He usually likes to drop a lot of hints about gifts which usually means I've figured it out well before he thinks I have but this year he totally tricked me. I was impressed to say the least. He made up some elaborate story so he could go pick it up undetected and when I walked in to this pretty new piece of furniture in my living room and I was so surprised! This is a handmade piece made by one of our good friends who just started his own furniture business. I LOVE my new table so much!
