Happy Monday everyone! I just got back from a family trip to Florida. And man-I am exhausted. Who knew a vacation could take so much out of you? Now I just need to get back into my routine of things.

While I was in Florida, I noticed a trend going on-there were lots of jeweled sandals. I loved all of the patterns and the pops of color that they added to outfits. Rack Room Shoes fashion experts even identified jewels as a 2015 spring trend. I've always loved shopping at Rack Room Shoes because of their variety of name brands to choose from at low prices. Not only do they have low prices, but they are also known for their every day "Buy One Get One 50% Off" promotion. And you know me-I love a good deal!

I loved pairing my Zigi Soho sandals with the Notes & Knots triangle print headband. I felt like they both completed the outfit with the right amount of color. I'm always wearing navy, gray, and black so it's nice to have accessories to complete the outfit.

What spring trends are you loving lately?

I have been loving my maternity clothes from Pink Blush Maternity, so much more comfortable than trying to squeeze myself into my regular jeans and shirts. I especially love this top since it has my favorite type of designs on it, I am a sucker for an Aztec print. Did I mention how much more comfortable I am now in clothes that are actually made to grow with a growing bump? I still don't know why I thought I would be okay to stick with my regular clothes at first. Rookie mistake...

So It has been a busy few days at my house! Who am I kidding, it's pretty much always busy around there. We are still in the process of finishing up the nursery which also turned into remodeling our bathroom and installing new flooring. Some might say we took on a bit too much and I would be crazy not to agree with you but it will be so nice to have it finally done here soon. It's been stressful but I'm glad we finally just went for it, it's something we've been talking about for years now.

In other exciting news, I am proud to say that I graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics on Monday and am so so so close to becoming a Master Esthetician. I have to complete my hours and take two more tests and I'm there! It's been a long but quick process all at the same time and I'm so glad I stuck with it even though it is so hard sometimes to work all day and then get myself up to go to school all night especially being pregnant and tired. It's been a great experience and I've learned so much. I'm very grateful for my amazing husband for being so supportive during the last year. He's basically been left every night to fend for himself so I've been so lucky to have him around to support me and basically be a single dad to our pups for the last year.

Hope you're having a great week so far!

I thought that since it's warming up around here that I would brighten up my typical kimono and jeans outfit. I love the light and airy feel this kimono gives off and I was so happy to try out these white maternity jeans from Pink Blush Maternity, they are so comfortable and they don't really look like typical maternity jeans so I really love that about them.

I haven't been very good at keeping you guys updated on my schooling that I've been going through like I said I would so a quick little update: I've been going to school to become a Master Esthetician for the last year and it has been such a great experience! I love that my school offers so much hands on experience and allows us to practice as much as they do. Well, I'm happy to say that on May 4th I am graduating! I will only need to complete my remaining hours working on the spa floor for the next little while but no more book work or tests! It's pretty exciting! Its been a very busy year for me with balancing working full time, school almost full time and the rest of life so I am very excited for what is to come!

It's going to be an exciting summer full of change for me and my family and I can't wait!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Hump Day!!! The weekend is getting closer, which means my vacation is getting closer! I'm super excited to be going to Florida. I've never been there before, so I'm ready to experience all things Disney and go to the beach. What are your favorite things to do while in Orlando? And I need favorite places to eat too!

Since it's going to be hot, I've been trying to add things to my summer wardrobe that will be easy to wear in the humid Florida sun. I love this top because it's nice and breathable, plus it has some detailing to it so it's not just a plan navy tee. Pink Blush has it maroon too. You can find it HERE

Have a great Wednesday! xoxo

I've always had this negative image in my mind of maternity clothes. For some reason they always seemed so frumpy and just not my style. Once I found out I was pregnant I was pretty set on forcing myself into wearing my normal clothes. I normally wear baggier shirts so that hasn't been too much of an issue but I quickly realized that regular skinny jeans are not the most comfortable on a growing belly. I gave in and began looking around for maternity shops and realized how wrong I was about them. There are some super cute boutiques out there that offer on trend maternity clothes and I was so excited that I wouldn't have to give up my own personal style to make myself comfortable (priorities, right?). One of my most favorite shops is Pink Blush Maternity, they have so so so much to offer and they are constantly adding new items and running really great sales!

I recently tried out some of their maternity skinny jeans and I was so surprised at how much more comfortable I felt. They had the perfect amount of stretch all around. They also have so many cute maternity tops that are stretchy or have extra fabric to go over a growing belly and the nice thing is that they don't look like typical maternity tops. Most don't have the elastic sides or at least it doesn't stand out and I really like that about them. Not that elastic sides are bad, it's just my own personal preference. I love this maternity cardigan too, it has such pretty detail! It will go well with so many different outfits!

If you're looking for some cute maternity clothes make sure you make your way over to Pink Blush!

PS less than 100 days until our little guy is here!

Good morning! I hope you guys had a great weekend. Mine was filled with running around to graduation parties and spending time with my family. I'm sad that my parents leave today, and I'm already saving up my money so I can go out to Oklahoma to visit them later this year.

Riley and I are headed to Florida with his family this week. We will be spending quite a bit of time walking around, so I've been trying to find good clothing to wear. I really like this top that I'm wearing because it's so breathable! I know Florida is going to be hot and humid, so I want something that I'm not going to die wearing. I love the aztec print neckline and the rolled up sleeves. Right now, Pink Blush is 30% off site wide with the code SHOPFORMOM30, so don't miss out on cute pieces like this shirt.
